OUR EQUIPMENT

At HLDUS we have all the necessary tools, both self-built and adapted or already developed by other manufacturers, to fulfill a wide variety of missions

OUR EQUIPMENT

In order to be able to fulfill a wide variety of specific missions in a secure, effective and efficient manner, we at HLDUS have equipped ourselves with a range of tools to ensure that this objective is achieved. To this end, we have chosen to rely, whenever possible, on off-the-shelf solutions already available on the market.

However, the solutions offered by the main suppliers have not always met our requirements. It has been then when we have decided either to make adaptations to these devices (such as, for example, the addition of a combustion engine to hybridize an electric drone in order to increase its autonomy) or, if the situation has recommended it, to develop our own solutions from scratch (such as the design and development of advanced drone command centers with which to operate UAS from adapted vehicles on the move).

Below, we are going to make a brief presentation of some of our work tools, which allow us to fulfill highly demanding missions that require very high levels of safety and quality.

MOBILE DRONE COMMAND CENTER

In order to develop our drone operation to capture all types of data beyond the visual range from a moving vehicle, a cornerstone of our efficiency in the inspection of linear infrastructures that has allowed us to inspect and scan more than tens of thousands of kilometers of power lines in Spain and abroad, HLDUS has developed our Mobile Drone Command Centers.

For this purpose, we have all-wheel drive vehicles that allow our professionals to go into the most demanding environments, being them the desert or forest tracks. These vehicles also have ergonomic and adapted workstations inside so that both the pilot and the camera operator can work safely and efficiently while the vehicle is moving.

Thanks to this tool we can perform rapid deployments and optimize aircraft flight time, so it is especially useful for technical inspections of linear infrastructures and security and surveillance or search and rescue missions.

T-DRONES 1500 ENHANCED + CAMERA INTEGRATION

The 1500 is a heavylifter hexacopter from T-DRONES with great features that allows us to carry our CAMI integration mounted on a Gremsy gimbal and composed of RGB, IR and UV cameras for thorough inspections of electrical installations. By mounting a visual camera we can obtain high definition images and videos, an ultraviolet camera for partial discharge and corona detection and, together with a thermal camera for hot spot detection and thermal monitoring on a three-axis gyro stabilizer, carry out a complete inspection in a single flight.

Even so, in order to increase its working autonomy, HLDUS has decided to equip it with an internal combustion system: a two-stroke twin-cylinder gasoline engine that allows us to keep the system in flight for more than two hours.

In addition, in order to avoid engine overheating in extremely hot environments such as the Arabian desert, this engine is liquid cooled. This integration has been carried out by our specialists as an improvement on our first version, which operated in the Kuwaiti desert, successfully inspecting more than 30,000 kilometers of high-voltage power lines.

Thanks to this equipment, we can perform missions requiring high flight autonomy, such as surveillance operations, search and rescue or technical inspections.
